Hog Roast Ashby were recently contacted by Denise. Denise was contacting us on behalf of Scunthorpe RAOB Club to invite us to come along and provide some of our slow roasted food at their next meet up. Hog Roast Ashby had actually catered for the RAOB Club previously, so we were honoured to be asked to make a return visit as they enjoyed our food so much the last time.
With a serve time of half past one, we spent the morning getting set up and preparing the food. This time we had been asked to provide our Hog Roast Ashby menu three for around fifty to sixty guests, with the simple adjustment to swap our herby new potatoes for some good old chips instead. With the meat slowly roasting away we made sure to prepare a delicious vegetarian alternative too. Catering manager Rob created his lovely grilled vegetable and haloumi skewers which always go down a treat and we finished up by creating a range of vibrant salads for guests to help themselves to.
It was great to see the RAOB club enjoying our slow roasted food once again. Before leaving we discreetly packed away and thanked Denise for contacting us- we can’t wait to be asked back again in the near future!
