At Hog Roast Salmonby, we recently provided catering for a 50th birthday party in Lincolnshire. The party was for Emma, a lovely lady who wanted to celebrate her milestone birthday surrounded by friends and family at her local village hall. For the catering, our manager Rob was asked to provide a classic hog roast for the occasion, with plenty for every guest to enjoy and more than enough to go around.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Salmonby team arrived at the village hall with plenty of time to prepare for the 19:30 mealtime. We began by roasting the hog, which required approximately 5 hours to slowly cook to perfection. For meat-free guests, grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers were available. Alongside the hog, we also served fresh bread rolls, gluten-free rolls, seasonal salad dishes, and homemade chips. This created a varied menu with something for every guest to enjoy, and plenty to go around.
The catering went down a treat and it was great to see so many guests enjoying what we had to offer. Hog Roast Salmonby received feedback for the event and our team was congratulated on our exceptional and professional service.
