Hog Roast Nettleton can provide catering for a variety of different events, so it made sense that our team were hired to provide catering for a joint birthday and housewarming party. Our catering manager Rob was contacted by Jean to cater for the event, with a menu needed for 70 guests. After looking at the variety of catering packages that we have to offer, it was decided that our classic hog roast menu was the ideal choice, along with a selection of tasty side dishes.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Nettleton team arrived at View Field to prepare the hog freshly on the day. We began by roasting the hog for around 5 hours to ensure that the meat was packed full of natural juices and flavours. Once ready, it was expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls, as well as gluten-free rolls. As well as the main dishes, we serve a variety of sides, including crunchy coleslaw, green leaf salad, and homemade chips.
The menu was served buffet style on wooden crockery and cutlery, as this was the ideal level of formality for the occasion. The guests all had a great time, and our catering went down a treat with the guests!
