Laura is expecting her baby this winter and to celebrate, her best friends organised a baby shower. The shower was set to take place this September, with Laura’s friends and family gathering to visit her, drop off gifts, play some party games, and enjoy a tasty meal from Hog Roast Holbeach. Since Laura has not revealed the gender of the baby, the venue was themed half blue and half pink, with lots of games involving guessing when the baby will be born, what they will be named, and how much they will weigh. After the guests have enjoyed an afternoon of games, our catering manager Rob has been hired to serve a Gourmet BBQ to the guests. This is a versatile menu and includes plenty of options for everyone to choose between.
On the day of the event, Rob and the Hog Roast Holbeach team arrived at the venue and began to prepare the menu. We started by grilling the main dishes, which included succulent sausages, juicy British beef burgers, marinated chicken kebabs, BBQ grilled spareribs, and halloumi and vegetable skewers. The mains were served in fresh bread rolls, alongside homemade chips, seasonal salad dishes, corn cobettes, and crunchy coleslaw. This menu provided plenty of options to choose from and had more than enough for everyone to enjoy.
