We’re only halfway through but April has already been an extremely busy month for our Hog Roast Spilsby teams, and May certainly won’t be much quieter either with the year’s biggest event in the King’s Coronation on its way – but that is all exactly how we like it here at Hog Roast Spilsby! This past Easter period has been no surprise, however, as we knew that Easter holidays and the bank holiday weekend would mean plenty of events to cater to. So let us tell you just a little about some of our highlights from events gone by as we close out this extremely busy Easter period!
The weekend had us attending plenty of Easter lunches. One of our favourites was out of a local hotel where the Grant family had gathered in their 30 strong numbers to celebrate the day in proper style. With multiple generations in attendance, from grandparents to grandkids (and even a new great grandkid) Hog Roast Spilsby had a dinner assured to satisfy all tastes. Our Easter hog roast menu came coupled with a lamb roast option and a BBQ jackfruit option. We options of buttered new potatoes or roasted baby potatoes to accompany, or homemade chips for the kids, as well as freshly made seasonal veg selections and homemade slaw and salad. An excellent dinner to celebrate an excellent holiday.
As we came out of the weekend Monday was still a bank holiday, and for it our friend Lacey put together a food and drinks affair in her garden for her friends. Hog Roast Spilsby provided the food portion, the guests brought their own bottles. For such an excellent lunch enjoyed out in the sun we had our hog roast staple and our selection of antipasti platters with finely sliced Italian meats and cheeses with artisanal breads. A classy affair out in the sun if we’ve ever seen one.
Once the bank holiday was all said and done Hog Roast Spilsby helped our partners at Benchmark Marketing to ease their staff back into the swing of things with a barbecue lunch in the office’s patio. A quick trip that had our team serving grilled burgers, sausages, salads, and our favourite fresh pulled pork rolls.
An excellent week by all accounts for Hog Roast Spilsby!
