A local community recently contacted Hog Roast Gainsborough to hire us to cater for their upcoming craft fair. The fair was organised as a way for local people to show off their talents and to allow guests to support small businesses. There were set to be over 40 different stalls at the event, with every kind of craft under one roof. As well as the opportunity to buy things, there were also several ‘give it a go’ tables where children could try something new. To ensure that there was something for everyone to enjoy, Hog Roast Gainsborough was hired to provide our delicious hog roast menu, as it is a family favourite and always goes down a treat.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Gainsborough arrived at the community centre and set up our catering station in the car park. The sun was shining, and it was a wonderful day for the event to take place. Once ready, we got to work preparing the menu, s
tarting by slow-roasting the hog. The hog was cooked to perfection and expertly carved by our chef. For meat-free guests, we also served BBQ pulled jackfruit. The mains were served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Hog Roast Gainsborough’s menu was a great addition to the event and ensured that there was something for everyone to enjoy at the fair.
