After spending the first year of her life in and out of lockdown, Lexi’s parents were very eager for her to have a first birthday party surrounded by family, to make up for the socialisation that she has been missing out on! To follow government restrictions, the party was taking place in the garden of their home, which is perfect during the summer. Lexi had been treated to many gifts for her birthday which could be used as entertainment at the party, including a paddling pool, trampoline, and sandbox. We had been hired to provide our classic slow-roasted pig menu, which consists of delicious pork served in fresh bread rolls. We were also providing sweet potato fries and home-style chips, as well as a few fresh salad options. This creates a perfect lunch that can be enjoyed by guests of all ages, especially on a hot summers day!
On the day of Lexi’s party, we arrived early to slow-roast the pig to perfection. Once it was evenly cooked, the pig was raised onto the serving platform and expertly carved, creating a perfect filling for the rolls and wraps. Our catering went down a treat with the guests- especially the adults!
