Our menus are incredibly broad – despite the company name, we aren’t restricted to just hog roasts. We offer everything from Thai chicken skewers to Scottish salmon bites and even Texan 24-hour beef brisket. Even the pickiest of eaters are bound to find something that they like with us. As for any dietary requirements? All of those will be discussed upon booking – we can accommodate for just about anything without compromising on flavour. Just recently, we catered for loving bride and groom Caitlin and Rupert on their wedding day where we got to show off some of our most popular vegetarian options.
Hog Roast Misson served up grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers (without Halloumi for the vegans), served with wraps, a tzatziki dip and sweet and a punchy sweet chilli sauce. A colourful and quirky alternative. The second vegan option is just as enticing… we served BBQ pulled jackfruit, a pulled pork alternative that tastes surprisingly meaty with an authentic BBQ flavour – slow simmered and as juicy as the real thing, served in a bun, steeped in a hickory BBQ sauce and dressed with a crunchy ‘slaw.
Of course, we did serve some meat too. On the menu this time was thick meaty burgers and sizzling sausages, Thai chicken kebabs and sweet BBQ spareribs, all locally sourced and cooked over coals giving them a lightly charred and smoky flavour. As for the sides, a Greek salad or Chefs personal pasta salad recipe, freshly fried chips and a selection of condiments.
