Selling top quality fragrances online, they are bound to be the saviours of many a Christmas at home this year!
So, then, we thought it only right that The Scent Reserve team get to enjoy someone else’s excellent and delicious scents for once. Catering for their Christmas party last week, the Hog Roast Brigg team brought along a bevy of the very best scents around: a crackling hog roast cooked atop a spit, and a fresh accompaniment of delicious sides!
A fragrance so good that our client may well be considering how to bottle and sell it, our hog roast is assured to bring out the best of any party. It’s spectacle, it is aromatic goodness, and it is tastiness above all, too! For the 40 staff guests of The Scent Reserve, the Hog Roast Brigg team catered a brilliant buffet selection at The White Hart in Brigg. It was a great location and a nice enough night to get nice and warmed up with our signature hog roast, cooked along with golden crackling, sage and onion stuffing, and served with fresh apple sauce. For some added spice and warmth, we also had marinated chicken thighs as an alternative option, or even as an addition for that wonderful blend of crisp and tender pork and white meat textures. As a veggie alternative: our delicious grilled veg and halloumi skewers served with sweet chilli dipping sauce, creamy tzatziki, and gluten-free wraps. For added freshness, our mozzarella and tomato salad, seasonal leaves, and gourmet slaw did the trick. Then you are always going to need a good mix of sweet and regular potato fries, served with salt and vinegar and a selection of our Sauce Shop sauces.
On what was a cold wintery night, there was plenty of festive cheer and warmth to be had – thanks in part to Hog Roast Brigg’s catering, but also largely in due to the friendliness and warmth of the entire Scent Reserve staff basking in festive celebration!
