There’s nothing quite like the smell of a sizzling barbecue to bring people together, and that’s exactly what we delivered for a fantastic birthday celebration in Stamford! The Spitting Pig Lincolnshire team was thrilled to cater this sunny outdoor event, serving up our ever-popular Gourmet BBQ Menu to a lively crowd of family and friends ready to celebrate in style.
From the moment our chefs fired up the grill, the air was filled with irresistible aromas. Guests tucked into a delicious spread of handmade British beef burgers, juicy gourmet sausages, tender Thai chicken kebabs, and our sticky, flavour-packed BBQ meaty marinated spareribs. Each item was cooked to perfection over the flames, creating that authentic smoky barbecue taste that makes this menu such a showstopper. Of course, we didn’t forget the essentials, plenty of fried onions and cheese were available so everyone could build their ultimate burger or hot dog.
Our team also provided a selection of bread rolls and wraps, including wholemeal and gluten-free options, ensuring everyone could enjoy their BBQ favourites just the 
way they liked them.
We take pride in offering something for everyone, and our vegetarian and vegan guests were just as spoilt for choice. The menu included hearty vegetarian burgers and sausages, alongside colourful grilled vegetable, and halloumi skewers (served without halloumi for vegans) paired with wraps, tzatziki dip, and sweet chilli sauce. The star plant-based option, however, was our BBQ pulled jackfruit, slow-simmered in a smoky hickory BBQ sauce, and topped with crunchy slaw, a firm favourite even among the meat-eaters!
To complete the feast, guests chose from a tempting range of salads, including Greek salad, home-made gourmet coleslaw, and chef’s own pasta salad, along with a potato side of roasted baby new potatoes, all served on eco-friendly bamboo crockery with wooden cutlery and quality napkins.
The atmosphere was warm and joyful, filled with laughter, good music, and even better food. It was a privilege for Spitting Pig Lincolnshire to be part of such a special day, and we were delighted to help make this Stamford birthday celebration a truly memorable one.
