Last Saturday evening in the picturesque village of Norwell, we were delighted to provide a Hog Roast Newark experience that guests won’t soon forget. Catering Manager Rob led our team in serving a delicious menu for 80 guests, all gathered to celebrate Charlie’s 60th birthday in style.
The celebration kicked off as friends and family arrived ready for a night of good food, great company, and plenty of laughter. By 8:15pm, the star of the menu was ready – our signature Hog Roast. The hog, slow-cooked until the meat was tender and the crackling perfectly crisp, was carved fresh and served with soft gluten-free rolls for those who needed them.
We believe everyone should enjoy a great meal, so our Hog Roast Newark service also included delicious vegetarian and vegan options. Guests could tuck into vibrant grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers or smoky BBQ pulled jackfruit – both big hits with the crowd. All salad dressings were gluten-free, and our herb-dressed new potatoes were a light, fresh side that paired beautifully with the rich roast.
To keep the event eco-friendly, everything was served on stylish wooden bamboo crockery with matching cutlery – perfect for the relaxed outdoor atmosphere.
As the sun set over Newark, the birthday speeches began, filling the evening with heartfelt words and funny stories from across Charlie’s life. Our team loved seeing the Hog Roast Newark menu bring people together, sparking conversations and creating lasting memories around the serving table.
By the end of the night, the hog was carved to the bone, salads were cleared, and the dessert table (provided by friends and family) had been completely devoured. It was a truly memorable evening for everyone.
