Hog Roast Binbrook didn’t have too far to travel when we recently catered a lovely wedding in Ashby cum Fenby. This charming village and civil parish in northeast Lincolnshire is located just a few miles south of Grimsby, and for Alex and Andy’s special day, they celebrated with friends and family members at The Hollies with some of our tasty, locally-sourced fare.
While we are, of course, famous for our hog and spit roasts, Hog Roast Binbrook can help you to have a wonderful wedding day with the menu of your dreams and on this day, Alex and Andy decided on our sought-after Southern Slow Roast Menu to be served to their 80 guests. Our head chef Rob worked in the sunshine alongside Wendy and Jade to create some culinary delights, including several kinds of meat, all roasted slowly for a few hours at a low temperature, as well as accompanying dishes such as corn on the cob, sweet potato wedges and various fresh salads.
While we have several menus for you to check out, we can even help you to tailor your own menu, so that the food that you want is served on your big day, rather than you having to settle for something that perhaps not everyone will like. A menu such as the Southern Slow Roast, however, provides all kinds of variety, with something for everyone, and even a vegetarian option is included, such as our popular veggie skewers, full of freshly-cooked vegetables and halloumi. We really do want everyone to be able to enjoy our food, which is why we ensure to provide alternative options for special diets, such as vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free, and as long as we know in advance, we can cater to your guests’ requirements and no one will be left out.
Before serving various delicious dishes to Alex and Andy and their guests, the groom Andy posed for some photos with some of our team and looked very dapper in his uniform. After the guests all enjoyed our Southern Slow Roast, Hog Roast Binbrook then served some very tempting strawberry meringue desserts to finish the meal off beautifully.
