This November, Hog Roast Branston got into the festive spirit with New Royal Theatre in Clasketgate. The event was a long-awaited Christmas party for staff and volunteers to enjoy, with the opportunity to enjoy s great meal together. Our catering manager Rob discussed the event needs with Caroline from the theatre and we decided that our Classic Hog Roast menu would be the perfect choice. The menu needed to be ideal for 70 guests and include a meat-free and gluten-free option!
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Branston team arrived at the theatre in advance of the 19:30 meal time. We began by preparing the hog and ensuring that it was roasted to perfection, packed full of natural juices and flavours. Once cooked, the hog was expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls or a gluten-free option. For meat-free guests, we provided grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers, which is delicious and nutritious.
We served our menu buffet style on disposable crockery and cutlery, creating the ideal level of formality for the event. The Christmas party was lots of fun and the guests really enjoyed gathering together and getting into the festive spirit with some delicious catering! Christmas catering is one of our favourite events to be a part of- and this was no exception.
